Words can not express my sincere appreciation to any and everyone associated with Jahn School of Fine Arts. If I were to sit down and think about how I wanted last week to unfold, it would not have been anything like what was witnessed. The cards, posters, well-wishes, and tokens of appreciation are just a portion of how you made me feel appreciated. Principal’s Appreciation Week was beyond my wildest dreams. Thank you for making me feel special. My excitement around being a part of the Jahn family continues to grow daily.

Starting TODAY, Jahn families are invited to sell popcorn through a Double Good popcorn virtual fundraiser. It's 100% contactless, we keep 50% of the profit, and the popcorn ships directly to the buyer.

Let's kick off our Poptober fundraiser with free popcorn for everyone on the playground after school today Monday, October 24th! For any allergy concerns, please read more for ingredient information.

Friends of Jahn would like to express our most sincere gratitude to everyone who came out on Saturday and supported the 10th Annual Pumpkin Patch.

This week marks the end of our first quarter of learning.  To say the least, it’s been a great start to what I am already declaring a great year.  In an effort to make this year even greater, I will be asking you in the coming weeks about your child’s experience.

Jahn is hosting an Anti-Bullying Campaign the week of Monday, October 17th through Friday, October 21st. The theme at our school for the week and year ahead will include the slogan: "Be cool in our school, it's bully free and so are we." We ask that you take this opportunity to have meaningful conversations with your child or children about bullying.

Looking for more ways to get involved at Jahn? The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a great place to start! PAC's Annual Principal and Organizational Meetings will take place back-to-back this Wednesday, October 19th starting at 8:15am in the Parent Room.

Join us Saturday, October 15th from 10am-2pm for some fall fun. Volunteers are still needed for the second shift during the event. Sign up to help make the day a success and you'll be entered into a drawing to win an Amazon gift card as a thank you!

You may have noticed that the playground is complete and open for our students to enjoy. We celebrated last Tuesday with a ribbon cutting with the first recess. Check out the smiles!

On October 6-7th from 10am-8pm, shop at participating businesses for the 14th Annual Shop for Schools in Roscoe Village. Shop on your own time or join two opportunities to meet other Jahn parents and walk the shops.
