Literati Book Fair is right around the corner, and I am eager to be a part of it this school year. The fair will begin on Monday, April 20th with opportunities for families, students and teachers to shop throughout that week.

It's really that time of year! We will only accept pre-orders, so don't miss out. Order this school year's book featuring PreK-8th now through Tuesday, April 14th.

The fine arts team is pleased to present our Annual Visual Arts Show and Earth Day Celebration on Wednesday, April 22nd, from 4:30 to 6 pm. This event will provide families with the opportunity to see artwork from ALL PreK-8th students across the building while enjoying student-led Earth Day activities outside on the playlot.

Our own 2nd grader, Mae McCabe, has an artwork on display at the Student Art Exhibition: Extra/Ordinary. The show is put on by the Art Institute of Chicago's Teen Council, CPS Art Student Voice Committee, and Chicago Public Schools. It highlights 3-D artwork by CPS students in grades Pre-K–12 from any CPS school. Check out the show at Ryan Learning Center at the Art Institute of Chicago until June 5th!
