You may have noticed that the playground is complete and open for our students to enjoy. We celebrated last Tuesday with a ribbon cutting with the first recess. Check out the smiles!

On October 6-7th from 10am-8pm, shop at participating businesses for the 14th Annual Shop for Schools in Roscoe Village. Shop on your own time or join two opportunities to meet other Jahn parents and walk the shops.

Fall is in the air!  With the new school calendar, we have had the great opportunity of being in front of our students for over a month.

Save the date for Saturday, October 15th from 10am-2pm on the Jahn playlot for some fall fun. Sign up for a volunteer shift to help make it a success!

Our Local School Council approved student fees for this year of $75 per student (with a maximum of three students per family).  School fees will be used to cover supplies, books, and SEL activities.  Students in Pre-K are not required to pay fees, but can donate an amount, if they choose.

As we move into the second half of the first quarter, I am filled with excitement as the love for learning continues to explode across our campus.

Join us for our Bilingual Advisory Committee (BAC) organizational meeting. Help us elect the new committee officers that will represent you at the school, network, and district levels this school year. PARTICIPATE IN THE ELECTIONS AND JOIN THE BAC!

The Network 4 High School Fairs will be taking place next month at two different locations and dates. Meet representatives from over 40 schools, learn about unique opportunities, and ask questions. Open to all 7th & 8th grade families!
