Principal Message - May 9th

Greetings Husky Community

As I pen this week’s Husky Howl, I am full of gratitude and excitement.  I am embracing these feelings because this school year has been one that has been filled with fun, learning, and engagement.  While our students have played a pivotal role in bringing this to life.  It has been the work of our dedicated staff serving as facilitators throughout this year.  While our staff’s hard work and dedication happens daily, please join me in officially celebrating them during Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week.  Much love and respect to our staff for supporting our student body daily.  Thank you!

There are a number of ways you can acknowledge/celebrate our staff this week.  Take a moment to show them how much you appreciate them.  They truly are our Superheroes!!!

Please assist us in embracing our SEL theme for the month - Self Confidence.  When you embrace this theme, there is not much you can not do.  Take time to share the theme with your children and assist us in promoting it for everyone.

Finally, please take a moment to check out the upcoming events on campus.

Have an amazing week!

Derrick

Kindergarten Registration:  Are you ready for your child to join the Husky family?  Please call or stop by the school to register your child for Kindergarten.  We would love to have you here.

Koffee with Kimbrough: Thursday's Koffee with Kimbrough will need to be rescheduled. Please stay tuned for a new date.

Kiss and Go:  Please assist us with before and after school traffic.  We encourage you to drop your child(ren) off and go.  Stopping in the intersection and sitting for extended times does not help with the flow of traffic.  Please assist us in our efforts to make arrivals and dismissals safe for everyone.
