As we conclude the month of February, I would like to thank you for all that you have done to support our Black History Month activities.  Before the month concludes, I encourage you to join us for our final program for the month.  On Thursday, our assembly program will be held.  For our Pre-K through 2nd graders, an assembly will be held at 9 am, followed by a 1 pm program for our 3rd-8th graders.

Spring 2024 registration has begun for 10 weeks of after-school fun with Ms. Nancy leading Girls on the Run at Jahn. Twice per week for Grades 3rd-5th, the program uses the power of play to educate and prepare girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. Limited to 20 girls, register soon!

Starting February 16th, we will be making and selling popcorn every other Friday for $1.00 per bag as a fundraiser for school-wide initiatives.

As we continue to move through the month of February, we encourage you to not only share and acknowledge the contributions African-Americans have made to society, we also invite you to join us for the remaining events that are happening on campus for the month.

Come to the Black History Month Food for the Soul Event this Thursday, Feb 22nd from 10:30-12pm in the school gym. Sample great soul food. Get to know the staff and other Jahn families over lip-smacking, great-tasting, calorie-free (wink wink ) food!

Families, please join us in the auditorium this Friday, February 23rd from 4:00-5:00pm as we celebrate and acknowledge Black History Month with a Capoeira Brazilian Martial Arts Dance Program. Parents/guardians must be in attendance with students for this special performance.
