As we continue toward the conclusion of another school year, I would like to take a moment to keep you updated on all of our year-end events. Your participation and support are truly appreciated as we celebrate this wonderful school year.

- Saturday, May 18th - FAW Festival - 10 am - 12 pm
- Tuesday, May 21st - Let Freedom Swing Jazz Performance (outside - weather permitting) - 1:30 pm
- Wednesday, May 22nd - DLC Bowling Party - 4 pm
- Thursday, May 23rd - Koffee With Kimbrough (Topic: close-out update/summer programming) - 8:15 am; BAC - 9:15 am
- Friday, May 24th - 8th Grade awards banquet (Boys and Girls Club) - 5 pm
- Monday, May 27th - Memorial Day - No School
- Tuesday, May 28th - School tour - 9 am; 8th grade luncheon
- Thursday, May 30th - DLC - 8:15 am
- Friday, May 31st - 8th Grade Graduation - 10 am
- Monday, June 3rd - Field Day (volunteers needed)
- Tuesday, June 4th - School-wide Awards assembly
- Thursday, June 6th - Kindergarten Celebration - 9 am; End of Q4 (last day of school - report cards sent home)
As you embrace what’s happening on campus for the remainder of the year, I want to remind you about our FAW Festival this Saturday. The event kicks off at 10 am and is an event you will not want to miss. Student performances, student artwork, and lots of wellness activities. See you there.
