Week One was full of joy and excitement. Despite the warm weather during the earlier part of the week, temperatures cooled off just in time for our Faces of Jahn pep rally on Friday. Although we had to move the event indoors, it was still fantastic.

Join us on Monday 9/9 from 4-5 pm for this in-person opportunity to meet your child’s classroom teacher, as well as other members of the Jahn school community. Dr. Kimbrough will begin the night by briefly speaking to all families in the auditorium at 4pm. Afterward, you are welcome to bring your child and siblings to their classroom and around the building.

Calling students in 4th through 8th grade who are interested in joining the Jahn FIRST Lego League Robotics Team! Come this Wednesday, September 4 after school for an info session from 3-4pm in Room 308.

Day 1 provided our students with plenty of excitement.  If you were on campus yesterday morning, it was clear that parents and students were excited, as well as a few tears shed around separation anxiety.  By the end of the day, it was clear that your children were in the right place.

Families, please join us on Friday, August 30th morning as we close out our first week of school with a pep rally on the playlot.

Week one? DONE! Let's keep the first week celebrations going with Popsicles on the Playground after school on Friday, August 30th. Join Friends of Jahn from 3-4pm on the playlot for a FREE treat and mix and mingle with other Jahn families.

The 2024-25 school year is here and we are excited to welcome our students back to Jahn School of Fine Arts. It has been wonderful having staff back in the building this past week learning and preparing for the arrival of our students.

This year's Back to School Bash event will be held on Thursday, August 22nd from 1:30-2:30 pm on the Jahn playlot. This will be the first opportunity to see class lists. Students and families will also have the chance to meet their classroom teachers and members of our staff.

As we continue to move into the month of August, Dr. Ferreras and I are preparing to welcome students and staff for the new year. Before the school year starts, we wanted to take a moment and bring a few things to your attention.
