Registration is open for any new students to Jahn in grades K-8th who live in the neighborhood attendance boundary for the 2024-25 school year! Families can stop by the school to pick up an application packet or call the school for details.

Out of School Time (OST) Summer Programming will be offered at Jahn at no cost to families! Please see program descriptions for specific information and complete the online application form now!

As we enter the final week of May, there are a number of things to consider. While Monday was a non-attendance day, I hope you took time to acknowledge and honor the brave individuals who sacrificed their lives for our country.

Come tour the new Jahn Library and get resources to support your child’s reading over the summer!

Urban Initiatives and the Bilingual Advisory Council are teaming up for our school-wide Kids Day Field Day (Día del Niño) on Monday, 6/3. Volunteers and prize donations are needed for this student-only event. Please consider signing up. There will be lots of fun! Students, show your spirit and wear your Jahn t-shirt that was gifted to everyone this year.

The final countdown is on to the end of the school year! Our kindergarten and 8th-grade students, in particular, have some exciting things coming up. All grades, take a peek at what you have to look forward to and help with the ceremony setups so that those families can fully enjoy the day and their student's accomplishments!

This summer, Jahn will be hosting Preview to PreK and Kick-Off To Kindergarten for rising preschool and kindergarten students at no cost to families. Both programs will run June 24th-July 26th Monday through Friday from 9:15am-1:15pm. Sign up now!

As we continue toward the conclusion of another school year, I would like to take a moment to keep you updated on all of our year-end events. Your participation and support are truly appreciated as we celebrate this wonderful school year.

Families and friends, please join us on Saturday, May 18th from 10AM-12PM on the Jahn playlot for this community event presented by the fine arts team. We'll celebrate our Jahn students and the arts with musical performances, make-and-take art activities, and physical fitness fun. See the schedule. All are welcome!
