Dr. Manuel Ferreras

Dr. Manuel Ferreras is a dedicated and experienced educational leader with extensive service across elementary, middle, and high school settings. He is known for his ability to develop and implement programs that enhance student performance, foster positive school culture, and support faculty and staff. Dr. Ferreras is a strong advocate for open communication with parents and is committed to resolving conflicts and creating supportive educational environments.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ferreras has held various leadership roles, including overseeing student culture and discipline, coordinating staff training, and leading initiatives that promote social-emotional learning and restorative justice practices. His work with behavioral health teams and school committees reflects his dedication to fostering a well-rounded educational experience for all students.

Dr. Ferreras has also been instrumental in supporting English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students and ensuring compliance with state and federal educational regulations. His commitment to academic excellence extends to his efforts in improving parental and community engagement, which have resulted in stronger partnerships and enhanced student outcomes.

He holds a Doctor of Educational Leadership and a Master of Educational Leadership from National Louis University, in addition to a Master of Education in Interdisciplinary Studies in Curriculum and Instruction. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. His certifications include Principal as an Instructional Leader and Teacher Leader in Illinois, as well as Educational Leadership and Spanish K-12 in Florida.
