Thad Knaus

I began working for CPS in 2009 as a Paraprofessional.  I worked as a Paraprofessional for 13 years before completing my Masters of Arts in Teaching for Middle Grades Mathematics at National Louis University in 2021.  I live with my wife and two daughters in the Lincoln Square neighborhood, and am happy to be back working in West Lakeview.  In my free time I enjoy watching Chicago professional sports teams, particularly the Bears, Blackhawks, and Cubs, and playing fantasy football.  I enjoy watching a variety of movies and shows including the entire Marvel Universe.  I also enjoy spending time at parks and playing outside with my daughters.  I am excited for the opportunity to teach mathematics to our Jahn middle school students and am happy to be part of the Jahn family.
