Emily Everest

Hi, my name is Emily Everest and I'm the physical therapist at Jahn. I have worked for CPS since 2010, and travel between several schools in the area. I graduated from Vanderbilt University for my undergraduate degree, University of Oklahoma for my physical therapy degree, and finally University of Michigan for my doctorate of physical therapy degree. School-based physical therapy focuses on supporting a child's ability to physically access their educational environment. I look at the student's strength, balance, gross motor skills (running, jumping, throwing, catching, and kicking a ball), and mobility skills (walking and navigating stairs).
