Tia Williams

My name is Shientia Williams, I go by Tia. I’ve been a SECA for 10 years and have volunteered at another children’s center. I love helping people (especially children) reach their potential. I found the love of helping others and becoming a SECA when my nephew was diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorder. It was something that I felt I needed to take on and help him overcome some of the obstacles that kept him from reaching his best potential!

I’m also a licensed cosmetologist and a mother of two daughters - one is in her 4rd year of college and is studying at Mizzou University majoring in biology Pre-med, while the other one attends Skinner West, and will be going into 8th grade this school year! I love, love, love, seeing children accomplishing goals that some would of thought was impossible.
