Greetings Husky Families
Although this is a short week, there are lots of things happening on the Jahn campus.
As we continue to move through the month of February, we want you to be mindful of some upcoming events:
Taste of Soul (Wednesday, February 19th): If time permits, please join us for our annual Taste of Soul. This event will provide you with an opportunity to taste a variety of soul food dishes. Unlike previous years, the event will be held in our small cafeteria.
Talent Show (Friday, February 21st): Are you ready to witness some of Jahn’s talent? Please join us on Friday. Our afternoon performances begin at 4 pm. We look forward to seeing you.
Entering/Exiting the building: Please assist us as we have implemented a few changes to keep our building secure. This includes exiting our building through the main entrance, instead of our side entrances and being mindful not to hold doors open for extended periods.
CPS School Food Survey: The District has launched its annual School Food Survey, which is open through Friday, March 21. The survey, which should take less than 10 minutes must be filled out in one setting. Information collected through this survey will be used to improve school meals during the rest of the school year and beyond.
The CPS Department of Nutrition Support Services will award a special prize to the elementary school and high school with the most survey responses! This prize will include a collection of exciting technology devices that will be raffled off to students at the winning schools.
Please take a moment to review the monthly calendar that was sent home or our website for details.
Have an amazing week.
