Principal Message - May 6th

Greetings Husky Families

As we move into the month of May, time is taken to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander month, as well as Jewish American Heritage month.  During this month, my wish is that we all try to gain a better understanding of the profound impact of each group.  Let’s take time to embrace the diversity that makes America a place where we strive to be more inclusive.

Our journey through the month of May will also provide you with a number of opportunities to visit our campus.  Please take advantage of each and every opportunity presented.  The first opportunity this month is our celebration of Teacher and Staff appreciation week (May 6-10).  There are not enough words to describe the dedication of Jahn’s staff.   Please take a moment to show your appreciation.

Next Saturday (May 18th) is our Fine Arts and Wellness (FAW) Festival.  This event, from 10 am to noon, gives us a chance to showcase the “fine arts” of Jahn School.  Please join us!

On a final note, if you did not get a chance to attend our Give to Grow event this past weekend, you missed a treat.  Our Friends of Jahn reached their goal and I am extremely excited.  Many great things will come to life on campus because of your support.  Many thanks to everyone.

For further details around what’s happening on campus,  I encourage you to review the calendar sent home or our website for additional details.

Have an amazing week.

Crosswalk Safety:  Please assist us in making sure our child is safe.  It is important that we do not block any of the crosswalks or stop in the middle of the street during arrival or dismissal. Please assist us in keeping our students safe.
