Please read the information below regarding showcase logistics carefully. We are also looking for volunteers to help put up student artwork in the hallways leading up to the Spring Showcase. Sign up to help if you're available!
DAY OF THE SHOW LOGISTICS
- 4:30pm - Doors Open for Visual Arts Show & PreK Gallery Walk
- 4:45pm - Call Time for performers to be in assigned rooms
- 5:15 - Performance starts promptly
** All students must leave the building after school (except for YMCA after care). No school based after school activities will take place on Thursday March 21st.**
Performances
Students in the groups listed below have been preparing performances for the Spring Showcase and are invited to perform the night of. Performers should plan to arrive at school by 4:30pm if they wish to participate in the artwalk with their family. All performers should be present in their homerooms by 4:45 pm.
- 1st Grade - Vocal Ensemble with Classroom Instruments
- 3rd-4th Grade - Vocal Ensemble
- 4th Grade - Modern Band Ensemble
- 5th Grade - Modern Band Ensemble
- Select Soloists - Students who have prepared pieces outside of class
Students not performing in this showcase will have an opportunity to perform for the FAW Festival on May 18th 2024: 6th grade, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade, Kinder, Preschool, and Rock Band
Visual Arts
There will be an art show showcasing ALL students at Jahn starting at 4:30 PM. Pre-K classrooms will have a classroom gallery walk inside their homeroom classroom as well as in the hallway.
