Principal Message - December 11th

Greetings Husky Families

Although the countdown to Winter Break has begun, we still have a little less than two weeks of school remaining, which means our instruction continues.  Yes, there will be a number of reasons to celebrate the completion of two quarters of learning, but we also want to assure you that we are embracing this month’s SEL theme of dedication.  We are dedicated to providing our students with the best.

Before the Winter Break begins, we want you to take time to join us for a number of events happening on campus this week.  Please check out our website for details around each and every event.  From our Parent Advisory Council on Tuesday (8:15 am), our Local School Council on Wednesday (4 pm), our Bilingual Advisory Council on Thursday (9:15 am), and our Husky Talent Show on Friday (showtimes: 1 pm and 4:30 pm).  Show your dedication by attending any or all of these events.

In closing, I would like to take a moment and give a shout-out to our robotics team.  This past Saturday, they competed in the FIRST LEGO League Robotics Competition.  It was great to see our team full of excitement and dedication.  After three rounds of competition and a group presentation, our team concluded the evening as one of eight finalists who are advancing to the Regional competition in January.  Kudos to our team and to the parent volunteers who coached them.  This was truly a job well done.  #dedication #huskypride

For further details around what’s happening on campus,  I encourage you to review the calendar sent home or our website for additional details.

Have an amazing week.
