Greetings Husky Families
As we shift into the month of December, there is so much to be thankful for as a school. Not only do I have the good fortune of working with a dedicated team of professionals, but I am also excited to come in contact daily with amazing students and parents. It’s great to be connected to this school.
In the coming days and weeks, there are a number of things happening on the campus and I encourage you to take part in as many as time allows. Take a peep at some of the ways you can involve yourself with us:
- Need holiday gift-giving ideas? Purchase Jahn socks through our 8th graders’ fundraiser for their legacy trip to Philadelphia. Items can be purchased at this following link: 8th Grade Fundraiser. This fundraiser concludes on Sunday, December 10th.
- Cheer on our Robotics team as they compete in the FIRST LEGO League Robotics Competition. This event is on Saturday at Austin College and Career Academy, 231 N. Pine Ave, Chicago, IL. The event is from 8 am to 4 pm.
- Our Husky Talent Show is on Friday, December 15th. There will be two shows: 1 pm and 4:30 pm. Families are encouraged to attend.
- Join our Bilingual Advisory Council as they host Game Night (Noche de Juegos) on Thursday, December 21st. This event is at 3 pm.
This is a portion of what’s happening on campus. I encourage you to review the calendar sent home or our website for additional details.
Have an amazing week.
