Greetings Husky Families
Welcome to October at Jahn School of Fine Arts! Before this month concludes, we will have one quarter of learning under our belt. During this month, we will also continue to embrace the all important topic of bullying, which is our SEL theme for the month. This topic is one that should never be taken lightly. Please ask your children about what they are learning with regards to the topic of bullying.
As you will see, there are a number of things happening around campus. Please note these Upcoming Events to take a full look ahead for the month. A couple of things to keep in mind. This Thursday (October 5th) is our first FLEX day meeting (3 to 5 pm). This means no Jahn after school programming (YMCA programming will continue). On Monday (October 9th), we celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day. While there will not be any school on that day, please do something to commemorate this day. One great idea is to take a moment to identify, and acknowledge the native land you live on.
Have an amazing week.
