Principal Message - May 22nd

Greetings Husky Community

Time is truly flying.  Before you know it, the school year will be in our past and we will begin enjoying summer.  I will be honest, that’s one thing I am not ready to think about.  The energy across the campus Monday through Friday brings extra energy to my life.  It is something I have truly enjoyed.  Before we get there, there are a number of things happening on campus that you should witness.  To kick things off, I encourage you to join us on Thursday afternoon for our Family Fine Arts and Wellness (FAW) Festival.  This event is from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.   Check out student performances and artwork from across the school.  Bring your blanket and/or lawn chairs and celebrate with us.   You do not want to miss this event.  Check out the calendar below for other events happening.

Also, please take time to embrace our SEL theme for the month, Self Confidence, and share the many contributions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) during this month and beyond.

Have an amazing week!

Derrick

Fall Registration:  Are you interested in your child joining the Husky family?  We have seats available in most grades.  Please call or stop by the school to register your child for the 2023-24 school year.

YMCA Fall Registration:  The window for the YMCA’s fall registration is open.  Please check out the link to register:  https://forms.gle/mUV8J376uZWbkZeb7

Kiss and Go:  Please assist us with before and after school traffic.  We encourage you to drop your child(ren) off and go.  Stopping in the intersection and sitting for extended times does not help with the flow of traffic.  Please assist us in our efforts to make arrivals and dismissals safe for everyone.
