In January, Jahn's Parent Advisory Council (PAC) met with other networks and heard from the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC). They are a statewide program that helps guide families through their child’s journey with a medical condition and works with doctors, schools and community groups to create a seamless support system. Additionally, the Parent Involvement Specialist Team presented on what they do to support Diverse Learner families. For more information, visit here.

CPS Parent University has a lot of great workshops in February for parents and guardians like digital literacy, affordable housing, "Love Yourself" self-care with facials and more, and salsa dancing.
