Greetings Husky Families. First off, many thanks to our Friends of Jahn for a wonderful family dance last Friday. If you were not able to join us, you missed a treat. Aside from a glow-filled room, there was tons of laughter and dancing. It was a great way to end the week.

Our monthly school tours are back with the first being next Tuesday, November 12th at 9 am along with a special evening tour at 4:30 pm as the GoCPS application deadline approaches. Come see what Jahn's about!

Before we break for Thanksgiving, our PreK-8th students will end the week with a school-wide Fall Ball Dance on Friday, November 22nd. Come dressed to impress for this student-only event in the school gymnasium.

Starting Nov. 11th thru the 15th, Jahn families are invited to sell popcorn through a Double Good popcorn virtual fundraiser. Formerly known as Poptober, it's still 100% contactless, we still keep 50% of all sales, and the same delicious popcorn ships directly to the buyer.

Attention 2025-26 incoming kindergartners and new 1st-8th students! If you live outside Jahn's neighborhood boundary, you must apply through the GoCPS application process for the 2025-26 school year. The GoCPS application is open NOW through an extended Friday, November 22nd at 5 pm.

Do your holiday shopping at Building Blocks Toy Store any day the week of November 18th-22nd and 15% of your purchase will go to Jahn when mentioning our school at checkout!

As we enter the 2nd quarter, we want to take a moment and bring to your attention a few upcoming events. By the time this week ends, we will be saying good-bye to October and welcoming November.

The upcoming Day of the Dead celebration that happens in Mexico and parts of Central America provides us with a great opportunity to teacher all our students about the traditions and beliefs of people from different backgrounds.
