Parent Advisory Council
Parent Advisory Councils (PACs) empower parents to serve as partners in the education of their children at schools that receive Title 1 funding. All Jahn parents are voting members of the PAC!
Each year, Title 1 schools establish PACs to bring together parents/legal guardians, teachers/staff, and community stakeholders to work with their principal in the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of the Title I Program.
PACs use the federal funds to plan programs of interest to families that support their children’s academic success. At Jahn, past PAC activities have included:

- Workshops
- Executive Functioning
- “Supporting the arts at home”
- Math curriculum
- Events/information
- Family literacy event ("Splash into Summer")
- GoCPS High school application process
- Aspen how-to session
- Printer and supplies for the Parent Room
Did you know that Jahn has a Parent Room? We do! It’s located in the basement and can be used by parents for meetings, volunteer work, or to utilize any books or supplies, including the computer and printer.
2025-26 MEETINGS

2025-26 MEMBERS
PAC consists of parents/guardians of students currently at Jahn. Every Jahn parent/legal guardian is a voting member, including community members in the attendance area, as long as they do not outnumber parents/guardians.
